Flag Presentation Ceremony for Mrs. Congleton-Lewis
Major Roy Congleton, L-4 Charter member, was killed in Viet Nam on 21 December 1964. Mrs. Mary Ann Congleton-Lewis was unable to travel to Roy's funeral in Raleigh from California. Roy's Grandson, Sean Congleton is in possession of the flag that was used in the internment. L-4 Alumni and Company L-4 members presented the flag to Mrs. Mary Ann Congleton and the family at the Bell Tower. The presentation was made to the family by L-4 Alumni 2LT Paul Chung on 21 April 2023. Twelve members and 4 generations of the family were in attendance.
